7 Tips to Create Recipe Cards in My RICARDO+

Our tool My RICARDO+ allows you to both create recipe cards of your personal recipes and save those from other websites. This way, all of your favourite recipes will be gathered in one spot. Here are a few tips to help make the task even easier.

1. Select Suggested Ingredients

In order for ingredients added to your recipes to be well recognized and easily added to your grocery list, write their name and click on the ingredient in the pull-down menu that appears underneath the text bar. Then, you’ll be able to specify the quantity.

2. Save Every Step of a Recipe

When you create a recipe card from one of your personal recipes, you need to save the text for each step, so that they’re well separated. If you enter the text in a single text box, they’ll appear as a single step.

3. Reorganize Elements

Do you want to change the order of the steps or modify some ingredients in a recipe without having to write them all over again? Click on the “Reorganize” button and slide the desired element to the proper location in the list. Save your action after changing the order.

4. Add Your Recipe Cards to Your Menu

Even if you created the recipe cards yourself, you can add them to your menu and even add ingredients to your grocery list. You can also do the same thing with recipes from other websites. Simply click on the three vertical dots on the right side of the recipe card.

5. Add Recipes from Other Websites to Your Recipe

If you’ve created your own recipes cards, you can add them to your menu and even add ingredients to your grocery list. You can do the same with recipes from other websites. Simply click on the three vertical dots to the right of the recipe card.

6. Create Some Screen Captures

When saving recipes from other websites, you must upload an image from files in your computer. You may use a picture you took yourself, or simply create a screen capture of the desired recipe.

7. Share Your Recipes by Printing Them on Paper or Creating a PDF

To share that muffin recipe you love so much, or any other recipe, save it in PDF format in order to send it by email or webmail. Click on the orange “+” icon on the lower right side of the screen, then choose “Print the recipe.” You’ll be able to print it on paper or create a PDF.
