November 11-15, 2019: What to Cook This Week

This week, we’re taking it easy with simple meals. On the menu are classic recipes like pork chops and fettucine Alfredo, as well as a few new discoveries, including an Indian-style fish, a veggie omelette and a burrito bowl that practically makes itself.

Monday: Zucchini, Pea and Feta Omelette

Omelettes are your best friends for easy dinners. Quick and delicious, eggs, an excellent source of protein, are topped with al dente green vegetables and feta cheese for maximum flavour.

Tuesday: Curry-Roasted Fish and Cauliflower with Radish Raita

This fish dish is a real "two for one” deal. Using the same mixture of oil, curry powder and chickpea flour, both the fish and the cauliflower get a good dose of texture and incredible taste. Serve it with radish raita, a refreshing sauce made with plain yogurt.

Wednesday: Seared Pork Chops with Rosemary

We love pork chops because it takes very little time to get them on the table. And this recipe is no exception. Sprinkle some crushed hot pepper flakes on the meat before browning it in the pan with garlic and rosemary, and dinner is served... or almost. Just add a side vegetable of your choice.

Thursday: Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo

Ah, Alfredo pasta... how can anyone resist? Its smooth, creamy sauce, with chicken, garlic and fresh Parmesan cheese is like a warm, delicious hug for fettuccine pasta. One of everyone’s all-time favourite recipes, this will definitely be a crowd pleaser.

Friday: Pressure Cooker Chicken Burrito Bowl

After a long week of work, all you want to do is relax. So why not let the pressure cooker do the work for you and cook the chicken in minutes! All that’s left is to garnish the Mexican-style bowls with lettuce, cheese and avocado, and sip a good margarita. Cheers to the weekend!
