10 Snacks to Enjoy After 8 p.m.

To keep busy during the Quebec-wide curfew, or because there’s nothing in the pantry to munch on in the evenings, here are 10 snack recipes to eat after 8 p.m.

Requiring few ingredients, you should be able to create most of these without having to wait until the next morning to purchase ingredients when stores have reopened. We know: we all get a sudden craving for something sweet or salty occasionally, which is why we’ve come up with this list. Enjoy!

Sweet Snacks

1. Mint-Chocolate Tartlets

Reminiscent of After Eights (get it?), these delicious tartlets are great to enjoy after curfew. It’s a fun kitchen project, letting you forget what’s going on outside (or what’s not going on outside) for a few moments.

Cooking: 40 seconds. Cooling: 5 minutes. Prep time: 5 minutes. This is what we call an efficient dessert.

Simple, healthful and extremely tasty, this chia pudding can easily be reinterpreted using your favourite ingredients!

This is a suggestion for those of you looking for the ultimate evening snack. Easy to make, you’ll no longer let your bananas sit on the counter to brown!

If you want to go off the beaten path, try this healthy treat, perfect for those with diabetes, lactose intolerance or celiac disease.

Salty Snacks
