10 Grilling Recipes for Summer

When it begins to get warmer, the urge to cook on the grill and eat outdoors is strong. So here are a few recipes for you to grill on the barbecue. On the menu: grilled chicken, burgers, fish, salads, pizza, mussels… Whether it’s a starter or a main dish, it’s going to smell really good in your backyard!

1. Patio-ready recipes

From the very first days of summer, you can fire up the grill for seasonal favourites, starting with chicken. Whether it's a weeknight dinner or other, it's always delicious. In this recipe, the chicken is marinated in garlic, citrus juice, spices and honey, which makes it extra tender. Another summer classic is the burger. This version is seasoned with steak spice for a smoked meat-inspired taste that blends vacation vibes with the feel of your neighbourhood snack bar.

2. Quick grilled meat recipes

Chicken, beef, pork: who can resist meat? Whether you go with a chicken Caesar burger, a minute steak with avocado salad or grilled pork tenderloin, if you love meat, there surely isn’t a lack of recipe ideas out there. They’re quick to prepare, meaning you get to spend more time at the table with loved ones.

3. Light recipes

For some lighter fare, try a BLT salad, where each part of the popular sandwich is grilled (even the romaine lettuce!) to form a salad. You can also cook white fish in a foil packet and serve with an orange salad, a fresh dish perfect for warm evenings.

4. Vegetarian recipes

Meat and fish aren’t the only foods that can be cooked on the grill. Give tofu a try, particularly when cut into steaks and served Buffalo-style with carrots. Vegetables are also worth grilling, like radishes, whose intense flavour softens when grilled, or an asparagus and zucchini salad.

5. Seafood recipes

Seafood and grilling go hand in hand, as long as you don’t cook them for too long, given that they’re rather delicate. Shrimp remain a classic; grilled in their shell and served alongside fennel in a foil packet, they’re just sublime. Lobster is also a popular choice, and adding shallot butter and sea lettuce makes it all the more interesting. Mussels are a tasty option, too; just serve with salad and fries for a simple summer meal.
